Lon is truly the heart of Askari. From the inception of this classic adventure yacht, Lon has been present maximizing every inch of Askari’s potential. This ten year commitment translated into the Askari of today. This fully equipped vessel stands by ready to place you alongside a school of rainbow runners rushing past stands of brightly colored corals, navigating you to the ideal kiteboarding location or tendering into a sandy beach for the start of an island trek.

As a Maine Maritime Academy graduate and USCG 500 ton Master, Lon has over forty years experience at sea. It is against the stunning backdrop of French Polynesia that Lon and Askari will transport you to a simpler place and time.

An avid sailor, kiteboarder and diver, Lon is often found on the deck checking wind conditions for his daily dose of adventure. Lon’s insatiable appetite for using wind and water as a challenge awakens the child in all of us.

It is under his guidance and Askari’s direction and heading that you will find yourself in new latitudes in both mind and spirit.

Askari awaits…
